Quick updates from today: Finally got the rear wing extender installed again. Looks better this time. Also got my CF eyelids in the mail so cleaned them up and got them installed. Will be fixing the front lip tomorrow.

I was driving into work today in a downpour and it seems like the shifter got much harder. It was like I was dragging the shifter through tar, smooth but very hard. This a known issue or just my car?

Are you just looking at protege engines in the yards? Only reason I ask is when we swapped a new engine in mind we put one in from a 626. Had to swap cam gears but everything else from the old block bolted up.

Quick updates: Cracked 190,000 miles! I got the rear spoiler painted but i didn't get it mounted yet. I have all the car audio stuff to build the front sound stage up. My speakers are rated for 100w RMS which is great since the amp I got is supposed to be 100w RMS... except the birth sheet...

Just FYI I don't have any airbox mods (or any real performance mods). My ram hood isn't set up to feed the airbox yet so if anything it would be dropping the mpg.

Wait, so because I drove 5mph over the posted speed limit and not 80mph my experiences are not normal? Right. Bottom line is mpg is all how you drive it.
