    Edelbrock 15033 down pipe

he was making fun of himself, look at his mod list. more than the car is worth. the OP should just bring his car to an exhaust shop that doesnt suck and have them wrap the cast DP so it doesnt cook the oil line/water neck and then properly connect the DP to the rest of the exhaust. or throw...

    Jeff's MSP GTR Build

sounds like they bought bad hoods. this one has been driven year round for 2 years by previous owner and does not have any of the issues that you described above. maybe it already has that clear coat you mentioned? it was a one off made by a shop in burlington ontario canada. i guess they did...

black steelie snow rims and CF hood. lol both functional, but on different ends of the eye candy scale also im pretty sure its just a stock protege ebrake cable. ill find one soon enough. broke right where it meets the two rear cables. I removed it last night and will start looking for a new...

lol ya ive been keeping a parking chalk under my seat lately. i am contemplating a hydrolic hand brake but would like to keep the cable braking system in tact for safety reasons. the trick is gona be getting one handle to operate both systems. just adding the second e brake (hydrolic) does not...

Fuel Filter Problem, FSDE Block, Please Help!!!

put two thin "nuts" on the threaded piece and remove via double jam nut method. takes 1 min to do it right. i actually managed to use just 1 nut and a left over oil filter to get mine out. just thread the nut half on, then thread the oil filter into the nut, then turn the nut into the oil filter...

    Pann Auto FMIC install?

my 2 cents ive had 4 different fmic setups over the last 10 years on my msp. worst was my BEGI kit as it costed me more than $800 cdn by the time i paid for customs. piping route was the same as your pan auto. functionally it was great, just the customs fees that screwed me over. best was my...

    What constitutes a good tune?

is it fuel or timing and fuel? if it is just fuel you will want to try and modify the map so that you are running a safe afr for any given boost pressure you plan on running. A "safe" afr is determined by a number of things inlcuding but not limted to the type of gas you use, the temperature of...

    Faulty BPV? Lack of power.

lol ok. well simple enough then just build a boost pressure tester with a silicone coupling, a plastic 2.5" end cap and a threaded pressure fitted that hooks up to a air compressor. remove your intake and install it where the stock intake would bolt on the turbo. google for a how to. dont...

    Faulty BPV? Lack of power.

clearly you should bring the car into a shop that knows something about cars before you kill yourself and someone else trying to merge on the highway. im all for being a cheapass, but putting innocent peoples lives at stake cause your too chate to drop off your car at a shop to get fixed just...

    Jeff's MSP GTR Build

got the ms shadow dash hooked up today. it uses bluetooth to connect my megasquirt to my phone or my tablet. it is awsome. probably the coolest setup i have ever played with. config is as easy as pairing any bluetooth device. Everything is wireless. I get in my car and slap either my android...

Pros and cons of EGR delete

i remember mine stalled out quite a bit when cold starting in sub 0 temps. enough to piss me off lol but if you are in warm climate it may not be bad at all. if its a DD I would say keep it, if its a track hoonigan than ditch the egr valve/pipe and enjoy the weight savings.

    Stock MSP ECU Map

there is also a guy in jamaica running a 1.8bp mazda motor on I believe an OBD-0 or OBD-1 honda ECU with hondata add on etc for larger injectors and tuning everything. the thing is why waste all this time trying to decode and program the stock ecy and hack the s*** out of your car when you can...
