    omg!!!

If you got hit by the bigass truck, then your insurance shouldn't matter. THEIR insurance has to cover it. Contact their insurance company and tell them you want to file a claim against their policy holder. If you hit the bigass truck, well... what ^they said.

What have you done to your P5 today?

Fixed a few minor irritating problems. Now my passenger rear power door lock works again without the grinding sound, my A/C works on 2 and 3, and I finally have keyless entry. Now I need to pull off the driver FRONT door panel and replace the mirror assembly, and replace the driver front...

    Headlight Help!

I am nearly certain that you can find that socket, with pigtail wires, new at your local parts place. I know the AutoZone I used to work at (0357, Jefferson City, MO) carried a whole lot of different headlight bulb sockets. One of those would probably work perfectly. If you're going the...

    Headlight Help!

Before you go too in depth, pull the bulbs out, and pull the "bulb holder" (that's what the dealer called it) off the bulb - it's the black plastic bit that the bulb plugs into, which then plugs into the harness. I had problems just like what you're describing with one of my headlights, and...

    Protege5: Harder, not Smarter!

Maybe you can get one of those 3x3x3 cubes of titanium and have an engine block milled out of it, Tamn. ;)

    lights diming

^this. I complained in a PM chat with a M247 member (don't remember who) about my headlights dimming when I roll up/down my windows, and was told that the grounding system in these cars leaves much to be desired. There's lots of threads about "The Big Three" that deal with the grounding...

Guide Permanently fix the "no A/C on fan speed 2/3" problem

For curiosity's sake, check the build date on the door jamb sticker. Mine is a 2003 model year (according to the dealership window sticker) but has a build date in like Sep or Oct of 2002. And I have the flickering A/C issue.

    Check engine code without scanner?

Nah, Chrysler included a feature in their OBDII systems (up to 2000, at least, and possibly later) that many of us in the Neon forums liked to call "The Key Dance". You'd turn the key on, then off, then on, then off, then on and leave it there, all in about 6 seconds or less. The last time...

    Extreme help needed ASAP

Your brake fluid is likely a tiny bit low. Top it off and it'll go away. After that, start searching for a fluid leak. It doesn't evaporate and it doesn't drain and there's only one other way for it to get out - leaking. (I don't mean to frighten you, but I replaced one of my rear calipers...

Replace the bulb. I don't think the two things are related.

    headlight help

+1 Had the exact same thing happen to me, too. Well, except for the re-aiming so the low beam was fine and the high was effed up. Me, I was stupid and seated the bulb wrong, didn't realize it until a few days later when I finally drove at night. But it was winter and cold so I left it aimed...
