Wow thats a lot of smoke (nailbyt) I had the blueish-white smoke as well when I had the TXS race pipe. Dealer wouldn't touch it until I put my stock cat back on. Sure enough the cat stopped all the smoke, they said it was condensation from the larger test pipe but I still think my turbo seals...

They are but all you need to do is extend them. My shop did this and has everything hidden. The standback is under my driver side dash and the USB cable comes out under the passenger side so it can be easily street tuned if the dyno is not accessible.

Those look pretty awesome. My friend has the 30th anniversary GTI that came with stock wheels very similar to these, although they were 18's of course.

You should mount the computer inside the car if you can. My installer simply extended the wiring. The Standback is under the driver side dash, completely hidden but accessible.

Have you seen the track times for this car? I agree its not that pretty to look at but your way off on how it handles. I am looking forward to the inevitable showdown between the two though. So far I think we have won just about every comparison or contest in our class.

Unless they pull the cover off for the ECU, then nothing is to be seen. Even if they update the stock ECU that is done up front in the drivers seat and again there is nothing showing. While it is possible for someone to spot this if the cover was removed its very unlikely. Here are some pics

Ha! I didn't even notice that part got cut off! That side is my boost. I spike a little over 20 PSI and then level off at 19 PSI on the tuned map. It then slowly drops as I hit higher rpm's. I wanted to wait myself but having a really awesome tuner close by made me pull the trigger ;)
