I will have to go through the manual again, I just didn't ever feel that the car shifted right when I drove it in manual mode. Then again I don't feel that it shifts right normally either. Oh well, you live and learn.

Check to make sure that the rear swaybar endlinks are good, I have blown mine out, and also check to make sure that the endlinks are tight. You could also have a loose rear shock mount. All of these things have caused loud noises to come from the rear of my car before. Good Luck, Josh

My only suggestion would be to skip the automatic transmission and learn to drive stick if you don't already know how to. The 5 speed automatics that are in the 2.3 liters suck. I should know since I have one. Other than that they are great cars, Best of luck

I have cleaned my MAF Sensor twice with CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner which I purchased at AutoZone. It is a cleaner specifically made for cleaning the MAF Sensor. Either look it up online or try to find an AutoZone near your location. Good Luck, Josh

coyfish what did you end up fixing to get the cel to go away, I cleaned my maf sensor and just removed the purge valve solenoid and tried to clean it with maf sensor cleaner and tapped it to see if it was stuck, just curious to see what fixed your error.
