Try using a diffrent vacuum source like the line that goes to the brake booster

Get a vacuum block and put it the vac line that goes to your brake booster than run a line from their to your bov or instead of a vac block you can just T into it....just make sure its before the one way check valve in that line so it should be intake mani-T for your bov-check valve-than brake...

What the power ratings on this clutch? Same clutch as stock for mazdaspeed?

Yea replaced both the valve and lines and car would still idle like crap

Has anyone done this? Are their any downsides? I have my mass airflow relocated nd I've had a p1071 for the longest time so I thought maybe the pcv was a vac leak and sure enough I pluged the nipples on the mani and put breathers on the valve cover and my p1071 never came back and hasn't had...

Theirs other places you can set it up at besides the front of the engine next to the mani

1.8 coil conversion

I cut about an inch or so from the top side of the shifting point and added it to the bottom of the shifting point from the stock mazdaspeed shifter wich is already prety short....shifter moves much less between shifts and I've yet to miss a gear

I have a shortshifter meant for a regular protege that I had on my mazdaspeed protege wich I uninstaled since i cut and welded my stock mazdaspeed shifter for much shorter shifts......the trannys are practicaly the same between each models using the same mechanisms for shifting

So it should be like this manifold-vac block-check valve-brake booster

On the line that goes to the brake booster just make sure its on the manifold side of the check valve

That's pretty pricey the new shop I'm getting it done at is charging me 200 for the downpipe including welding on a highflow cat....but I have to purchase the cat and the turbo downpipe flange seperate....but mine is smaller at 2.5" so maybe that's where the price diffrence is at

I know right...stoped by another shop after work today and they said piece of cake all I need now is to find a high flow cat for cheap to pass emissions and I'll get it all done at the same time...around what price should I expect? I don't want to pay more than I should have to lol
