Candy coating is basically another term for translucent paint. You can see through it, but the more coats, the less you can see through it. It would take a really good painter ti get the colors right as if it was CF, the black would make the color look off. A good job would be a couple grand...

I have the alarm that was installed by the factory and keep having the issue (which just started) that the alarm goes off for no apparent reason. :wtf: Has anyone had this issue and how does one go about decreasing the sensitivity on the alarm? Any help would be appreciated. Ted

I got my new one on Dec 21st 2003 and paid $13556 (taxes, title and license included..) out the door on a 2003 p5 with a six disc, moonroof, subwoofer, 5 speed, alarm system) They just advertised the last 2 on the lot for $9999 - no options, but kinda hard to beat 10K for a NEW one...
