    Mazda 2 woes

They could've forgot something somewhere. Mechanics are notoriously careless. Or the cooked ECU could've fried something else in addition to the pump. Or, I'd rather lean in the direction of this theory -- there could be some other thing, the root cause of the cooked ECU (because...

    Non-scratch lug nut socket

If I were so worried about those nuts, I'd probably just invent some cheap solution, like: wrap them with some thin Scotch tape or stick it inside the socket (it'd be short-lived as the tape would rip easily, but you can always reapply it). But honestly -- I wouldn't care that much. It'd be...

    Mazda2 Rally Car

For rallying, the M2 needs a skid plate like I don't know what...

Goodbye Civic Del Sol SI, hello Mazda 2!

Did that once, and then wrecked the car :) Also, green is the best, its just some people are too black'n'white to understand it :) Welcome!

    Would you buy a MAZDASPEED2?

Well, me too. I generally don't understand people buying bigger cars for riding alone. Big machines have their use, but riding to/from work alone 99% of the time - who needs Camry/Accord for that? But people are irrational and some habits are difficult to get rid of. Just look at older folks...

Ha! My had two -- one installed on the bumper, one spare in the trunk :) Maybe that's one somebody's missing? :)

    Mazda Lowering Kit Installed

WTH? Why is Canada getting all that and we don't? Does it cost a lot to get all that stuff DOT-certified or something?

    Corksport lightweight crank pulley: thoughts?

Well, at least, good job, Corksport, in terms of honesty and integrity. Respect!

    Rear wiper nozzle

I actually yet to meet a car where that rear window sprinkler is much more functional.

    Driving Position

The same thing (6'1", ~240lbs) -- can sit comfortably, the only problem is the right knee against the hard central console is a bit uncomfortable. I would assume that taller drivers could have issues with the wheel obscuring the speedometer, but the OP is 5'10" -- kind of surprised by the issue...

    Paxed 1st at Fort Myers

Congratulations! Wow! Aren't they going to adjust PAX indexes seeing all that domination a tiny weakling of a car demonstrates? :) Just curious: you say it's the fastest course -- what speeds do you hit there, do you know?

My Battle-Stance build thread PART 1: Protection, coilovers, bars and wheels!

Most people think they can drive (and probably think they drive well), but any turn -- side street, gas station or McDonald's -- makes them almost stop before turning.

    Corksport B Spec Mazda2

Awesome! I'd only replace some of the obnoxious music with more appropriate engine tones in the video :)

ACT Clutch kit went in today! *Review*

More likely it's just the stiffness of the pressure plate springs.

ACT Clutch kit went in today! *Review*

This clutch is hydraulic? (I don't know -- I have AT). I wonder how could the speed of engagement depend on the clutch itself? It should depend on the hydraulic system (master/slave cylinder, some valves, etc). As such, I just doubt that clutch replacement could change all that. The engagement...

    Sunroof as requested.

I see. Yes, that's the problem -- number of times it feels right to use the sunroof (not too cold, not too hot, no sun overhead -- typically it'd be nice spring night) is kind of limited, and then you forget to open it. For smoking it's also not very convenient -- ash and embers falling back on...

    Sunroof as requested.

Honestly, sunroof is something I really couldn't care less about. Had it in couple of my cars -- opened them probably a dozen times in about 10 years of ownership. Wonder what people use those things for?

    Mud-Flaps and Antenna

The OEM splash guards come with all the hardware needed and the instructions, which clearly state which hardware to reuse, and which to throw away. I don't have those instructions anymore, but it was pretty simple really.
