    Huge hesitaion, help?

sounds like a few things. take the line right from the WG to the vac line on the side of the valve cover and blow into it. if u can blow into the WGA its bad. im not aware of a "pill" or check valve in that little bit of line. either way it shouldnt allow you to blow into the WGA. if you can...

    Huge hesitaion, help?

agreed, i just wanted to point out that it can be a number of things but its definately beneficial to fix all leaks first.

    Huge hesitaion, help?

As far as the 5 sec hesitation, it may actually be the stock tune. Its notoriously bad. essentially it just dumps fuel till you get into higher rpm and then evens out (read: evens out, doesnt get better lol ). The first thing to do is find and fix any boost or vac leaks. they are the devil in a...

    Maybe coils?

Before i answer... what do you mean by -# psi. do you mean vac or psi? psi is positive pressure (anything above atmospheric). so im trying to see what your saying.

Its a little pricier, but you can use silicone hose in that area, so if it bumps in just a lil, the flow will be fine. and it will give a nice expansion/movement joint. The biggest thing is to make sure your IC core is all the way back to the frame. Moving the PS cooling loop behind the hood...

    need some help on EMS

The GT28RS does flow more CFM so it will lean out the tune, as you said. The stock MSP tune is terrible by any standards. Mine dipped below 9.3 freqently, and without load (going up a hill), it doesnt always drop from 14.7 when you hit boost like it should. On a stock dyno mine didnt dump fuel...

What have you done to your MSP today?

ahh, im sure youll be fine to just replace it then. If you did the timing belt and water pump then your like 80% there. I have confidence you can do it. Just be VERY careful when you take the cams out, the journals are veddy delicate, one lil piece of sand will destroy things.

What have you done to your MSP today?

I have so much to do on my msp. I hate when everything builds up cause its getting old. Belts, pumps, turbo drain leaking a bit of oil, valve cover gasket.. so much to do, so little money.

What have you done to your MSP today?

Go for OEM there's no reason to go otherwise unless you have some monster build (and even then, im not sure if cometic still makes one). Also, a headgasket is a pretty big job. It depends on your handiness but since you have to remove; cams, head, timing belt etc theres alot that can go wrong...

    i need some input

^ that, and can you give us more on what you mean by "blown". Im going to guess it has to do with oiling (either pressure issue, or drainage), if your going through them so quickly. But, we definately need more specifics.

    need some help on EMS

Essentially, if your not going for large numbers, or a build to support it get the split second AFC. The reason i recommend that over the AEM is cause the AFC has more support here. Support is very important if you are new to tuning. The AFC's base map is pretty good to. I havent messed with the...

The "What mods for a daily driven MSP?" Guide Thread

Just keep in mind, any stock tune on any normal car like ours is tuned for daily driving and fuel economy. So you could add any number of power adding mods, but they won't show their full potential until you get the fuel/air where its supposed to be (timing too but for low boost this cars timing...
