Yes, this issue got solved by a starter replacement. I shall add there is no electric warmer of any sort installed on this car, so it did very good since then. It went to work and back all week (well except Monday of course).

UPDATE, Managed to live the rest of the 'cold snap' without any further incident.

I'm concerned about the lack of fluidity of the tranny when decelerating. During slow deceleraton at slower speeds, the transmission seems to log the engine because of hanging on a higher gear.

I read somewhere about an additive to the transmission fluid for our type. Can someone confirm this. My 5 has only close to 12 000 mi. (20 000 kms). So I might want to go that way to prolong its life

Have you tried any windshield treatment like RainX on it? I'll guess like Robotaz said, it's new. The pressure of the wiper arm's springs might be a little much for the new wiper blades. So, I suppose that RainX might help the rubber glide better on the W/S surface.

I only wished we could have 2 differents 'fuel maps' or ways the engine is managed at a flick of a switch. So that we could keep the 'ZOOM ZOOM', or be ECO when we feel like it.

Ok, thanks for your answers. To me they look like the fog lights could point up a bit more upwards. I didn't research the type/wattage of the bulbs in these. I wonder if I could find another tint(color) of bulb to get more of a 'anti-fog' effect.
