This is exactly the setup I am going to put in my car. Did you have the Voodo in pearl or brushed aluminum? I really wish MGW still made shift knobs for the Miata (which would fit the Protege). I had one on my Miata and it was perfect.

Those with the Racing Beat exhaust, is it heavier or lighter than stock? Would it be advisable to replace the hangers with say Kart boy hangers when swapping out the exhaust? I am thinking of buying a used Racing Beat for $120 shipped 7000 miles on it. Cheers
