well, like i said everything is good except some body damage and the suspension...............everything else under the hood is good, the car turns on and everything only big problem is the front two wheels suspension.......

that's what sucks i don't have most of the stock parts.....ill see what i can do...

i was in an accident last Sunday, long story short the other guy's insurance said that my car was a total loss. the estimate to fix my car was about $7,000 usd (10-30% body damage, most of my damage is in the suspension) so instead they going to give me a check for what my car is worth. well...

yeah and thats what i dont want.....a small transmission leak = a big money leak out of my pocket..........as bad as the economy is..... i think im trading my car in the near future....maybe ill let the dealer fix it when i trade it in....... thanks ........... is there a how to add...

is it safe to be driving my car around with a transmission leak......reason is i see transmission oil under the car....

have anybody had problems with the VICS? im assuming my vics are loosing up...i hear a ringing noise close to my intake manifold.....i removed my vtcs a couple of months ago so thats out of the list........what kind of noise would i hear if i have a loosed vics screw?

* The catalytic converter is no longer functioning properly * An oxygen sensor is not reading (functioning) properly * A sparkplug is fouled up

just asking because i read in some other thread that is not recommended to remove the VICS...just curiosity ......... before i remove my manifold again and check whats wrong with it

Sorry for stealing your thread ...................... is it bad to remove the VICS? i hear a noice coming from my intake manifold and im guessing is a the VICS losing up.....it cant be the VTCS because i removed those a couple of months ago.........can i remove the VICS also??

if you that kind of guy that likes driving a car hard and rough dont buy a protege5.....you might blow the engine.....i seen alot of people having engine problems with the p5 including me and i dont even drive hard.....

does anybody know where can i find a good how to: test ignition coils? the only one i have read is to unplug one spark plug wire and remove one spark plug out the engine once removed put it back on the wire find a ground point, have someone to turn the car on and check for a a bright blue spark...

did you pulled the alternator from above? did you had any trouble pulling it out that you had to force it out? if you did, most likely you damaged a vacuum hose or by accident you pulled it out with the alternator... check both the vics and vtcs vacuum line hose or the one just under the vics...
