Don't forget to check all of your fuses! I nearly paid to get a in tank fuel pump replaced and found out I just blew a fuse. Also in my earlier car audio days I blew my dashes fuses while changing hu's. Blown fuses happen.

Doubt it will, stock setup won't have a remote wire unless maybe running a stock amp. The reason it won't work when going into the harness is because it's drawing out the currrent needed to tell your amp that the decks on and it's time to play.

Is that an aftermarket wiring harness that you have to switch it off the stock harness? If so you shouldn't need to have the wire going to it, only need from amp to hu. Worst come to worse though, run the remote to a fuse that is only getting power when the car's on, not a weak fuse though and...

Personally I'd go for Pirelli pzero's with an extreme lopro over the way those look. The pirellis give an amazing ride for lopro tires. If you need the stance for the mags your looking at though you could possibly stance them and get an almost on rim look that will get you a little lower too...
