    Check engine light

OK the CEL was on since yesterday but gas cap was snug as far as I could tell. I decided to try gassing it up and puting the cap back based on what a dealer told someone to do in one of these CX7 forums. Sure enough the CEL light went out. Not sure what this means... supposedly my dealer took...

    which is the true "silver"

Even the white looks different at times. In normal light it looks almost plain, but when the sun or under the lights at night it takes on the "Pearl" and looks real sharp.

iPod for Tech Package... is there hope?

Assuming it fits that sounds like too much of a hassle. I'd just live without it till trade-in time. For me the Sirrius and the CDs are good enough... though I must admit, I prefer the XM music lineup better. It sucks that Mazada doesn't offer models with XM and Sirrius. It would have cost...

RockBlocker Light Protection is Now HERE

I imagine clear does nothing much for looks. Smoke reduces light so that's out of the question for me. On the fog lights I imagine it doesn't matter much and fog lights are sometimes yellow. The fog lights don't seem to do much anyway. I have a get out of jail free card so tickets are not...

Ok folks, after weeks of torture, finally gave in and bought one . . . lots of pics

Mine CX7 is white with black also. I remember you posted what you had tinted somewhere else. I believe you did the driver and passenger side windows along with the little quarter windows and some tinting at the top of the windshield. I live in Westchester so it might be too far check our...

    6-CD Player showing track info

Yes it's so... but I'm just the messenger. Now that I think of my Jetta doesn't display any track info either and it's a 2005 1/5 New Jetta. The 2000 Honda Odyssey I traded in didn't either, nor did my 2000 Accord. I would think it would be simple enough to upgrade the software in these newer...

    6-CD Player showing track info

I believe that it only works with CDs that you make yourself (fake ones) if you include the song info when creating the CDs. I know that might not make you feel good except to know that it is not defective.

    Real Bad Gas Mileage!

I also considered the Honda Pilot but I didn't need third row seating and the Pilot just doesn't handle like a CX7. I won't even talk about the looks. The Pilot's steering wheel had way too much play for my taste. I could move it back and forth quite a bit and it did not affect the steering...

Anyone had the software update for low pwr under 2000rpm

I picked mine up at the end of DEC. I would have thought they would perform any required updates before delivery, but I don't see a sticker on mine. I don't notice a lot of lag but I'm not sure.

    "Turbo" decal?

I'm sort of mixed on whether to bother putting one on. Just remember that you are advertising that you have a turbo. If you get pulled over and are borderline on getting a ticket, the officer may notice the emblem and lean towards giving you the ticket. On the other hand it is small and may...

    Chroming OEM Grille..

It's commonly done on motorcycle plastic parts. The honeycomb might be expensive to do though since you might be talking about a lot of surface area to chrome on the inside edges. I believe it can be done without doing the back to save some money.

    Keeping it Clean and Sparkling

Does this apply to all microfiber cloths?? This is a bit off topic but microfiber cloths are used very commonly by photographers to clean lenses. The optic coatings on lenses are much more delicate than autopaint. I'm not doubting anyone, but it seems kind of strange that they are acceptable...
