I usually head out to Brighton, Pine Knob, or Holly once a week anyways, so I'm always down for a meet. Just hope you guys can keep up with me. ;)

Everything down here pretty much sucks. But I still go 'cause I try to get out as much as possible and Mt. Brighton, Mt. Holly, and Pine Knob are all only 45 min. from me.

Yeah Mazda dropped the ball when they used those POS endlinks. When I went to have my MSP springs and Tokico blues put on, they guy at the shop told me before they even started that he hated working on Protege's 'cause of those stupid endlinks.

Tried that. The problem is the female allen "pocket" or whatever you call it, is just too small. You can't get enough torque without stripping it, to break loose the nuts when they get corroded.

Yes, but it looks like you live in Arizona. In the northern sates (I'm in Michigan) we have the problem of winter and salt on the roads. If you drive a car here for even 1 winter, there is no way you will be able to get the endlinks off with just a wrench and allen. They just corrode way too...

Yes the calipers and rotors are slightly upsized on the MSP vs. a P5 or LX.
