AC compressor sounds like a respirator.

Could you try to record a video/sound clip of the sound you're hearing?

    Fender flares?

I disagree; we have some members here with the sedans and they look really nice. This photo doesn't do the sedan justice.

    Modifying the Side Marker Bulbs

Do you know what size/number bulb they are? They'll probably work in the interior or rear license plate.

    Modifying the Side Marker Bulbs

I'd just start Googling for "Mazda 2 sidemarker", or try on eBay. I just did a quick search and found a couple of places selling sidemarkers with LEDs already built into them.

    Modifying the Side Marker Bulbs

Those sidemarkers are a parts-bin item from Mazda, and have been used on other models as well (like the 1st gen 3). There are aftermarket ones that you can buy (for pretty cheap) that allow you to swap the bulbs in them.

    Gaz Mileage

I used to average 38-40, but since I got a new job and there's a bit more city driving involved it's been closer to 35. Highest I think I've gotten is 42.

Audio System Upgrade (Firewall Power Cable Location) UK Mazda2

I would tend to feed the wire in the direction the grommet is "pointing" if it has an extended sleeve. If it's just a flat grommet, then going from inside the cabin to the engine bay is probably easier, since you won't have to push as much wire through.

    Window Tinting Prices

Yeah, I'm OK with paying the price because I know a solid group of guys installed it (they've tinted my last two cars and they let me hang out and watch them work) and they offer a lifetime warranty on it.

    Window Tinting Prices

I paid about $200 to have all four windows plus the hatch tinted to 40%. I'd go with black tint if I were you.

    lugs for oem wheels?

I have a set of Gorillas that I got powdercoated body color. They're solid lugs, but do weigh a bit more than the OEM ones (if that matters to you).

Take the car to the dealer, they have to plug their laptop in to program it.

Cost to buy a Mazda 2?

Maybe I'm going to a different mazdausa.com than you, but if you go there and click on Mazda 2, at the bottom of the main Mazda 2 page it says "SPECIAL OFFERS" and underneath that "0.0% APR for up to 60 MONTHS." In fact, Mazda USA is offering the same deal on Mazda 3's, 5's and CX-9's as well.

Remote Entry Unit? (OEM Remote Trunk Release Possibility?)

So I went and bought one of these off of eBay, and can confirm that it works on the 2011 models too. As best I can tell, the remote is from a 2nd gen Mazda 3 or 6, or 3rd gen Mitata. It's made by Mitsubishi Electric, just like the 3-button key that comes with our cars. The trick to making sure...

Cost to buy a Mazda 2?

Right now Mazda is doing 0% for 60 months. Not sure where the 1.9% APR is coming from. And +1 to getting the Touring if you can afford it. It's worth the extra money.

    Mazda2 Taillights, anyone? lol

Not all markets have reflectors on the bumper; in some countries they have to be up higher, like in/near the tails.

    Mazda2 Taillights, anyone? lol

Sure makes a lot of sense to me.

    Mazda2 Taillights, anyone? lol

Some countries don't have the rear reflectors in the bumper. IIRC the J-spec rear bumper doesn't.

Get rid of the 2 or buy new wheels?

If I were you, I'd try to get to the root of the vibration/shaking problem first. Buy/borrow a set of factory wheels and run them without spacers if you can, just to see if the harshness is there. If it is, the problem is with the car and you'd need to dig deeper (maybe return to factory...

Replacing Instrument Cluster with upgraded one

Instead of just showing up at the dealer, maybe you can call and ask first if they'd be willing to do it -- and if they're not, call another dealer. To me, the cost of an hour's labor is well worth it either way -- imagine what the cost would be if you got to the point where you tried to remove...
