I got this oil sludge around the transmission pan. Thinking i have to clean them first before removing the pan. What product do you use to remove them? Also, have some on the plastic tray from the previous leak. it was not cleaned properly when I had this done on a shop before.

I was trying to remove these push pins too and it seems I will break them. Do you use a special took to remove them?

Do you mean to put the grease under it on where it sits? or on top of it?

I also notice the brake pads came with hardware plates. Is it recommended to replace them as well. Are those just snug fitted and easy to remove?
