mine does the same thing. at around 4-5k rpms at wot it will whistle. i was planning on takin mine in to the dealer cause i am also still under warranty. i took of the intake pipe and spun the turbine with my hand and it sounded horrible. almost like there wasnt any oil in it ever. let me kno...

same thing happened to me...26k miles s*** went dead. they just replaced it under warranty and guess what? my new one is already ****** up. i hate kenwood for sellin refurbished s***. better off buyin yourself a new one.
