What's wrong with your MSP that you need to take it to the dealer. Sorry to hear that.

I'm going to take my car to them tomorrow. Just need to go rent a car now. No MSP for two weeks. :( At least my MSP will be in good hands. :D

I know this is kind of an older thread but for what it's worth, when Steph "stole" :D my 03.5 shift knob at the sunday meet a couple of weeks ago it fit her 03 MSP, so I guess yeah the 03 and 03.5 knobs have the same thread.

When I went to different Mazda dealers searching for my MSP, I sat in a yellow MSP on the showroom floor and the back seat made the same noise...lol...it sounded like the car had a heartbeat.

When your talking about Vic's airbags, I'm guessing your talking about Dr. Sound, since I don't know of any other Vic. His airbags would not have deployed, his car was rolled. If you look at the pics of his car, the front is still intact. Now if he had side airbags, yes those would have...

I think that their light weight, from being built with beer can like material, also helps out with the speed. just my 2 cents. :D

How hard was it to mask off the area that you didn't want painted? What type of paint did you use, I have that high temp engine enamel made I think by Dupont or could be someone else.
