Well in the end of all this, the Sparco X-Speed didn't work. It fits in fine threadwise. It's just that the boot doesnt attach to the base of the knob like the stock one. So you have about an inch-1/2 of space that the boot floats up and down.. overall looks cheap and dumb to me. I could always...

Just recently someone keyed my hood and cracked the headlight and I've also noticed the p5 lights and figured they could be swapped, and plan on doing this.. lights from the dealer cost 266.36 a piece.. think that was with an aluminum lip..
