That's not exactly true. (however as with anything delaing with wine everyone has there own opinion) Most Reislings go for under $10 and are really good. I personally try to keep my wine under $15. Usually anything from 20-50 is a bit over priced and no one except conesours will notice the diference. For Fetucinni, a good white, Chardonay woudl be good but it sometimes can be a bit over powering and dry for some. If you're new, I'd recomend a reisling or maybe even gewurtztraminer.I'm not a huge fan of whites, but if you spend about 10$ for a bottle of white you'll be ok. If you spend about 20-50$ (for *any* wine) on a bottle you're gonna get a great wine...beyond that, only real connoisseur is going to notice.
