I swapped a JDM engine into my P5, and am gonna part out the old one. It ran great and had excellent compression on all cylinders, but it consumed a lot of oil. Didn't overheat or use any coolant. Because of the oil consumption, this engine should be considered as a rebuild-able core only. When I check the compression, it was 175ish across the board. Prices are all shipped to lower 48: Automatic FSDE flexplate, adapter, and plate. 45.00 shipped. Good shape. Good Used Cylinder Head 80.00. I was going thru some boxes in my storage space and came across this hidden gem. I was absolutely surprised of how well this piece has held up given how old it is. I dusted her off and wiped her down with some cleaner wax and it made me remember why I spent so much on this piece in the first place. There is some slight cracking of the clear coat around the edges of this piece but that's it. All, Basically just tyring to figure out what price to sell a short block for- any suggestions? Short block from Mazdaspeed Protg, low mileage (63k). This short block had a clicking wrist pin (cylinder #3), thus the removal. Removed by local Mazda dealer. Picture is the old block in the box that the replacement came in. picture is weak, but my back didn't want to lift that heavy dirty beast out. Would be perfect for the start of an engine build! Help!! Sad to see but my MSP was totaled out and the insurance company is giving me such a hard time about the value. They're using Protg LX and EX's as "comparable" vehicles (bs) I'm sure others have had this trouble. H&R Coilovers (one blown rear strut) I have a set of used HR coilovers. One of the rear struts is blown but replacements can be found for a couple hundred bucks. But you could also just swap the rear struts for a pair of Konis or something like that. I was not impressed with the life of the rear strut anyway. They have about 20k on them. Fronts are still just fine, and so is one of the rears. I'm just short on upcoming bills, that's why I'm letting them go so cheap. I want them gone now! These were a great upgrade while I had them. The depo light is pretty much new condition. The OEM light needs a restoration. No broken tabs or clips. No cracks in the headlight lenses. One of the fog lights is in really good shape, the other is slightly fogged up.
