Do you think 35% Tint would look good on a P5?

Auto Zone sells tint that is 35% or 40%, and my next door neighbor said he can put it on for me, so I'm thinking about going down to Auto Zone to buy me some.

Do you guys have any pics of your cars with that much tint? Or should I look around somewhere else to maybe around 25% tint?

I have 35% on my car. And its a little faded from the years its been on there.
Its a little mirrored:

Anyone got a close up of 35% tint? thats pretty light isnt it? I'm thinking of putting something light and nice reflective kinda tint nothing too dark to make my 3rd gen protege look more classy! And autozone? yea right isnt that the store with the commercial with jesse james! haha lol alright lates

35 on mine, i got premium 3m tint, lifetime warrenty against bubbles, fade (going purple) and other stuff

I'm getting mine done this week, 35% all around, 20% on moonroof, and a front strip. I'm getting a good deal because I'm bringing 4 cars on 2 days to the place.
02.5 p5
03 altima
00 eclipse gt
99 eclipse gsx

all tinted for i think 700 bucks.

35% looks kinda light but oh well not much I can do about that (stupid laws)

i did 20 percent on tha p5, just remember the darker you go, the less visability you will have at night, i made the mistake of going a bit too dark on the benz and i cant see at night without rolling windows down...

I have 18%... I can see perfectly at night... though IMHO its about the threshold for nightime visibility

Haha, I have 5% on my hatch and the little quarter pieces. Then 17% on the rear doors and 35% on the front windows. It's sometimes a b**** to back out in the dark. Feel like I need a set of bright fogs in the back. Good thing is that on highway drives in the night, SUV's and semi-truck lights don't bother me anymore when they are following me.

I had 35% on my laser blue, and just got the same on black mica on Saturday. I love it...it blocks enough to keep the heat down a little in the car, gives you a little privacy, and you can actually see out at night.

PS Be careful if you let an amature do it. Crappy tint jobs are fugly.

I agree. You should seriously consider professional installation. Even though it may cost $100+ more, you get a quality product and possibly a warranty.

35% is sufficent it gives it a subtle diffrent look i like my 35's alot got mine lifetime warrenty, for 100$ in some palce in ft lauderdale though id like to tint my sunroof :( place wouldnt do it because they said the sunroof may crack from the heat (uhm)

I got 35% on all but my front windows.Looks really good. It'll seem darker since the P5's interior is dark.(2thumbs)

There are two kinds of tint: Dyed Tint= Purple Mess in 8 yrs.
Metalized Tint= Perfection for a lifetime....
Go with an a professional when getting your windows done because you seriously dont want a bad job done on them.
Make sure to get the lifetime warrenty kind and that they arent charging u over 200. for it.
Got mine done for 160. at my house with lifetime warrenty.
Call different places to see whats out there.
Good Luck!
