need to make room for my roll call which im getting shortly. i have NO fingernails at all, so any recommendations on what i can use to get the gunk off without scratching the paint? i have this 3m adhesive remover that comes in a black spray can with a blue cap, smells pretty strong, and doesnt screw up my paint.

weather permitting i should be weatherstripping-less by tommorrow. :D

yeah.. i think he meant side moldings...

and even with adhesive remover, it's still a pain

It all depends on the age of your car. I debadged my old 95 & it took several hours, but I did the MSP a month or so after I got it & it only took like 30 minutes. The side moldings on my old car took about 10 hours!

The hell....we have side moldings on the MSP???

wtf mine doesnt...
NO NO, Matthew has a P5, my old car was a Corolla, & all I did on the MSP was debadge the trunk. Part of the reason I LOVE the MSP is because we don't have stupid side moldings. :D

ahh yeah the first post made it sound like you did it on the MSP, and i was like alright what the ****. lol

Read again, I said debadged. :p I was an English major about 2 years ago. :D

yea i have a p5...the car is a little over a year old, but only about 14000 miles. so if you dont have fingernails, what do you use? do you just rub it until your finger gets hot and the stuff starts balling up? if that makes sense...

ive been doing it for about 2.5hrs now and im just about done. this adhesive remover is great, and doesnt damage anything. i just soaked the residue of glue and removed it from side to side rolling it up, which seems to work the best and fastest. the only problem im having is my thumbs hurt :( which is why im taking a break

I was way to lazy to do it myself I had it done at a bodyshop for both sides they charge me $50 they really did an awsome job took them an 1hr and 30min.
