funny you should post this. Few weeks ago i was looking for some pics of the 3 with some wheels on it. Couldn't find anything really. And the ones that I have found, the wheels didn't have the "it" factor for me. Most of have way too much wheel gap, or the wheels just didn't suit it.

I do however like that 2nd shot up there, the titanium.

Now, where's the sedan pics!

i dunno i thought i would grow to like the Mazda3 hatch, but nope, it still looks ugly to me. ive seen them in person, and ive desperately wanted to like them, but yuch...the sedans arent much better imo, though the 6 is truly HOT.

Well, Here's my sedan. Hope you like. These are 18" x 7.5 Exel DL-46.

I like the sedan a lot better as well. I can't get used to the front grill, and the PT cruiser like hood on the hatch. Don't get me wrong, I really like them, just like the sedan better.

And the 6 is sexy. So sexy their tempting me to get one and mod it.

I've been noticing that the wheel hubs on these 3's are MASSIVE. Those 18's look like 17's in that picture above.

Anyone know the max size tire to go in a 3?

love the rims and the tire size on the gray hatchback. Any one know what brand they are. THey look like 19s to me and it also looks like its been lowered.

I think you could possibly go with 19's, but I'm not certain. My 18's are extremely close to the shock in the rear, so just maybe with 19's you may need a spacer. Don't know... (shrug)

Here's some more detailed info on the Mazda3 stock wheels. The stock offset is 52.5+ (55+ on my late Mazdaspeed Protege) and the stock bolt pattern is 5x114.3 or 5x4.5in (I think...). I'd assume that the largest width you could fit is 7.5in (stock wheels are 6.5in), maybe 8.0in. The stock bolt pattern cannot be changed but the offset you can play with. The closer the offset is to 52 (assuming the wheel width is 7in or less), the less chance of rubbing. Supposedly, the Titanium Axela hatch pictured uses 18x8in wheels with 225 tires (I have an article from a Japanese magazine with the wheel/tire size.... I'll post it as soon as I find it), with a 45+ offset.... and yes, that particular Axela has been lowered (how much.... I haven't a clue....).

That grill is from the Kenstyle kit, that axela is lowered, with 18in wheels, otherwise the rest of the car is stock (the 3rd and 4th pics are of the same car).(dance)

The offset on my Exel wheels is 45.
