freakin awesome. i can't wait until I'm boosted, although that's a bit of a way off. How much did you pay for the setup + any extras you got?

the kit is 3995 as posted on the site and the extras included 58 for shippin and 195 for the hks ssqv. some more extra are oil, npt pipe tap...little things.

none of those 1.5 days were tuning, the car does not need to be tuned unless you want it tuned. i had problems with fitment becuase i tightened a few things to early. so on my first run the charge pipe from the ic to the tb came loose but i didnt know and i was like i paid this much for like 20hp, THEN...when i noticed the pipe...it was on...clutch is GONE and this things blows off like a big fukin monster!

labor was done myself in my garage with my tools...much thanks to YP5 Toronto...homeboy helped out BIGTIME with some issues in the beginning, so he deserves some ass kissin(bow)

i want hiboost too.. but when I do it i figure i'll just do it all and get a new clutch, LSD, and flywheel at the same time. I need money. (sad1)

How was the difficulty of install? I know some things can take a long time (for example my painted interior) but are relatively easy, just time consuming.

I know all of these questions have been answered before. Just gotta get new opinions all the time. :)

its not hard but at the same time it aint easy..mazda used super glue for a oil pan gasket. then the hole in the oil pan wasnt big enough for th fitting so i had to sand it away for like an hour and a half cuz i didnt have a bigger bit. the friggin connector for the wire harness is huge and takes a little massagin through the grommet and the bumper is snug...ull need a friend....so as u can see these are little things that are expected, nuthin to do with the kit itself, just typical pains in the ass.

so now i have to make some friends when i wanna install... hmm... that'll be harder than raising money for the kit. :D

When did you buy your kit? i bought one recently and i'm having major problems with the Haltech not working... they sent me another one and that one's not working either... and yes it is wired correctly.

I just got off the phone with Seth after going over a lot of things. He finally found a broken wire inside the Haltech harness from the factory and car is running fine now. Call Seth. He has good news. Both ECUs are fine.

BTW, he got the kit one week after you did. You were the lucky one with the bad harness.

how would the hiboot kit fare with an auto with the sport / tiptronic tranny?

don't want to blow anything up. heh.

i don't think i;d consider myself "lucky" i've been without a car for 2 weeks for something that should have taken 2 days all because a ******* broken wire..... argh i figured it would be soemthing stupid like that

Congrats on the new kit! (guitar) Give your clutch time..it will get used to the boost..and won't slip as much!

The day my kit was installed the clutch slipped in every gear..i was like WTF! Than after a couple days it calmed down..and now it only slips in 3rd..when i got WOT in 1st, 2nd into 3rd gear!

Also Micah..had a MPI Kit..and had smilar problems with his tranny!

Both kits were aprox 8psi on T3 turbo's!
