Hey everyone, I need some help here. I've been wanting a Racing Beat catback exhaust for my P5 for quite a while and it seems now I may be able to finally get it. However, my hubby is pushing for an HKS, he says he's heard good things about it and thinks it looks better. I'm kinda torn now since checking out the HKS so I'm just wondering if anybody who has either exhaust could help me make the decision. I'm looking to get the best gain first and foremost and the tone is the second factor. Not trying to have a swarm of Hondas, I mean, bees follow me around everywhere. :p Thanks for any help you can give!

Bump, c'mon people, I know somebody's gotta know something on these. Thanks! :D

(HKS) Hi-Power Exhaust

It all depends on your taste really, the racing beat looks stock and I hear good things from it. I got HKS because I did'nt want my muffler to look stock I also have had previous HKS products before and trust in their relaiblility. The HKS exhaust I like because it is angled out N1 dirft style like the drift cars in japan, it hangs high and won't scrape nor is the tip huge it looks decent not ricey and it has a nice deep tone not beeish at all when I really give it WOT people think my car is faster than it really is it's funny. The piping also comes titanium powder coated to protect it from rust or anything I live in NY and when it snows here with all the salt man my stock exhaust would'nt have lasted for s*** it would have been rusted alll the way through. The exhaust was also dynoed in turbo magazine I have the pic attached to the post. I say go with what ever suits your needs. If you want more info check out www.hksusa.com

the racing beat is to quiet for me , and i like the hks look better as well

Hmmm... the RB looks kinda pricey by comparison also. If I were to go w/the RB does anybody know where I could get it for less than $450ish? I like the look of that but I'm still on the fence, isn't HKS better performance wise?

all the exhausts will give u about the same as long its either full cat back.. or the axel backs will all be about the same..
i have the racing beat.. very quiet and looks stock.. i love it.. no rice here..
the hks is a nice exhaust but it looks a little to large for me..and im not a big fan of the exhaust sound.. im very happy with the racing beat..

415$ from me
Is that shipped? Will that price hold until I get my tax return in a couple of weeks? :D If so that sounds like a great deal to me. Now for some sweet talkin' the hubby. :p

Do you sell AEM intakes as well? If so would you do a package deal? Protege5online.com has them for $200 shipped.

Kewl, lemme talk the hubby into it tonight and we can make a deal tomorrow. Thanks! :D

I ordered the Racing Beat cat back from Matt at Racingextreme.com and should have it next week or so. It would definately be worth your while to check out his prices and services....it's the best I've recieved on this forum!!! Also, the RB has 2.375" tubing back, designs systems for Mazda's, and lists dyno results for you to see on their website....

So give your hubby a (kiss) and buy the RB!

RB is the winnnar! And BlueMP5Dave is the vendor. :D Hubby said it was ok to make the deal and you got it Dave. I saw on your site you have the AEM CAI as well, is that for $175? Because I'm more interested in the CAI than the SRI. I'm looking to get the one in the pic in Red.
