DaveB rings are AWESOME

They're a pain...use a flathead screwdriver to push the tabs and it's a lot easier.

heh...yeah I went in and got the flat head... still no go. Oh well guess I'll wait for a meet or tackle it when I've calmed down a little. So frustrating to not be able to do a simple task....

If mazda had any smarts, they would have outsourced daveB and given him a full time job overseeing mass production of his rings for stock placement on all protege's :D They are just that good..... any of you toying with the idea of getting these.... don't even think about it, just do it! You won't be dissapointed I promise. Now when Dave starts putting these out again in a couple months, just get some...

got mine in the mail the other day. like others said, dave gave me the group buy purchase after the deadline. Great packaging and very informative. He is an asset to the protege/3 community. keep up the good work dave

I did mine without disconnecting the connectors. Just make sure you have a towel on top of the steering column. It's a little more cumbersome working around the steering wheel but not that bad. all you have to be able to do is pop the clear plastic lense off to get to where you install the rings.

rings are finally in... they look awesome! I can't wait till tonight to get the night view! I thank you all for you help on the install, and thanks again DaveB for a wonderful product!

DaveB rings and a Carbon Fiber embezel really spices up the instrument cluster. Total cost about 60 bucks..not bad on the wallet.
