What persuaded you to go with this Android unit? Seems a bit overpriced for YGWYPF. Mekede (pay more for name/support) or FYT (cheaper and popular on XDA), both same/similar hardware, seem be the current benchmark for decent android units. Is it your intent to setup a "backup" camera and not a "parking" camera b/c placement does not show the bumper lines?
How in the world did you find a OG Mz5 with such low mileage!? I'm tempted to say the ODO was rolled-back but the interior looks pristine too!? And a very impressive stablemate! You must like to drive your cars, consider swapping in the MS3 pedal set (higher rest angle), remove the plastic panel by the pedals to free up space to hell-toe, and swap in a taller 5th gear.
This unit seemed to have a good track record with user installs, reliability, & reviews over the years. All I was looking for was wireless AA/CP & backup camera, so I didn't need a lot of advanced functionality that I would never use.
The camera is mounted high to take advantage of the live rearview functionality. Although this isn't ideal to aid parking, it will still be used to help with parking with the rear wiper as a reference.
