Hey guys,
Today I installed a OEM rear view camera on my 2018 cx5. The installation was prette straight forward, and after installing i got the following menu(check photo), wich you toggle true by using your blinkers and selecting by pulling on the blinkerhandel. It is used to calibrate the lines for the camera, in my hurry i closed this window and now my lines are projected crooked on my screen. The only thing i could find online whas on a russion site wich said the following. (translated from russian to Dutch to English) I have no clue what to do at step 3.
The original camera is configured like this:
1) Start the engine
2) Blinking Far (towards ourselves)
3) Turn Signal Right-Turn Signal Reverse-Turn Signal Right-Turn Signal Reverse-
4) Turner Left-Turner Reverse-Turner Left-Turner Reverse-
5) Dimensions: Include-Dimension; Turn off-Dimension; Include-Dimension; Disable.
After that, you will be taken to the first menu for checking the input signals, and you need to have time to blink the turn signal within 5 seconds, and the whole operation should take no more than 20 seconds.
If you got to this menu after that, then repeat steps 2 - 5 again and you will get to the setup menu of the standard camera, which was displayed in particular at the first start (when the camera was just installed). There you can calibrate (there are rules on how to do this) the rotation lines and a number of other settings (even some kind of front camera is mentioned!).
I'm hoping that somebody can help me out. I know the screen is there but i just dont know how to enter it.
I have tried to reboot the ecu, and disconnect the camera completely, but nothing worked.
Hope my story makes any sense, since English is not my language.
