soo pissed!!!

i went in for service last wednesday(1-7-04), left it over night and and picked it up thrusday(1-8-04). the attched picture is what it looked like when i got it home. i have never been soo pissed about anything. i could not believe that they left the oil cap off. not to mention that oil is EVERYWHERE. and then when i called them and told them that i was a little less than statisfied with my my missing oil cap they offered to clean the engine bay and give me a new oil cap. i stated that i didnt want to drive any further without a cap and that they should deliver it to me, they said that the shop was closing in 10 minutes and that the mazdaspeed tech had already left for the evening. so the best they could do was leave a cap in the show room for me to pick up. i have not had bad expieriences with my dealer in the past and i hope that this was just a fluke.

That's messy. Oil all over. Sorry to see that.
Also, if you can't trust them for an simple old change, how can you trust them to clean your engine bay.

yeah i saw you there that day, car looked good .........i don't like that dealership after what they did to me by not telling me my car was wrecked and repaired b4 i bought it. only reason i was there was b.c they had what i needed and no one else did.


btw guys all oil changes are free while you own the car. But after this I don't know if I will be going there for the oil change ,its about a 45 min drive to save what 20 bucks, I might just pay it, we'll see after I get my car back this week.

Hail that! i remember a post one time about somebody getting an oil change at the dealer, and they drove it home with no oil in it. :mad:

i do my own oil changes, so i know its done correctly.

I would be pissed. I did mine last time my self also. or I take it to a buddy that has an oil changing station. I can trust him.

I had that happen on my nissan and the car sounded like a monster..

I NEVER....NEVER bring my car to the dealer...not since I bought my speed (unless I absolutely have to). I seriously dont trust them since they never heard of a "reflash." Its typical...it happened to my uncle at a dodge dealership...fortunatley dodge/chrylsler has that five star rating that is super hard to get...so they bend over backwards for you. But MAzda...Im so disapointed at some of the dealers around here...seems like they dont know much.

got my oil changed there last week and checked it before i left. they did it right, hopefully they are more aware now that that happened to you .
