Location of ground wire

Any one know where this originally mounts? It was deemed unnecessary by the previous owner. Im kind of particular about things and i would like to use the OE location. Thanks.

Looks to me like the ground point on the rear motor mount from the starter/alternator harness.

I believe it should bolt onto the mount itself ( bottom ? ).

The actual motor mount doesn't have a ground. When taking off my transmission there was a ground on top of it. There's one on the passenger mount.

On the manual there is a bracket on top of the trans that ground bolts to. It's the ground from the negative battery terminal so it must be connected. As long as it is bolted somewhere to the engine or trans it will do it's job.
