Ok, ok, ok, i know its not what some would consider the correct thing to do, but on a budget and instead of 200+$ it works. Not sure of performance gains but it sounds pretty good and works. Only about 15$ in parts and 20$ filter. IMG_20130507_213435.webp.

I think it looks pretty good for a PVC intake... Would be interesting to find out if it actually improved performance. Dyno it :p

Dyno it? Now were pushing it. Im sure on the smallest scale it helps. But not enough to worry about. I need to eventually do exaust. If you let more air in, gotta let it out too. I just like the sound and look. And it cleaned up my engine bay a little.

No CEL at all, The MAF is just screwed into a 2"-1" reducer bushing. The bushing is not glued in, it can be popped out if need be. the rest is all glued together. Its all 2" pvc parts cut down as short as I could and still glue a ring of pvc inside. The couplings are just a tiny bit smaller than the intake, the silver connecter is a coreless pipe coupling, it has a rubber sleeve inside that stretches over to fit on the intake. It mounts it hard on the intake, no support needed.

You shouldn't have trouble with the MAF as long as the piping size is reasonably close to the OE diameter. I imagine that thing sounds drop dead sexy when you stand on it....
