Not all Floridians are insane... honest.

I make no claim to being a sane Floridian... I'm sure they're out there somewhere, though.

Anywho, hi. Been a fan of light-weight, space-efficient sub-compact/compact cars ever since I can remember... when the 3rd-generation Demio/Mazda2 was unveiled back in 2007, I had thought, "I would like to own one of those some day..." ...and in mid-2011, I got it :D Thank you, Mazda, for giving this car a chance in America.

It suits all of my needs, with no waste. Every convenience feature in the car has been utilized at one time or another... and I don't really feel like I'm missing anything. Of all the cars I've owned over the years, this is my favorite.

Haven't really done anything to the car, other than tinting the windows. So, I might as well post a picture, huh?

Welcome to the forum. I agree with you, the 2 is the perfect car for me. It does everything I need it to and it's extremely practical and fun.

Love the car! Kind of reminds me of someone else's..haha

The tag is the bucked teeth to my smiley face grille.. :D

No, no mods planned... aside from some quality sport-touring tires when it comes time to replace the stock units... that time is rapidly approaching... I've already got over 25,000 miles on it, and I don't exactly "baby" the tires... (I never "waste an offramp" :D)

I probably drive this car more aggressively than I should, thanks to the sharp throttle response and superb chassis... modding the car would just make me drive it even harder... which would probably not be a good idea :P

I enjoy your plate. =]
When it was time to re-up my registration (and I had had the current plate for five years, so it'd have to be replaced anyway), I checked and saw it was available, and went with it :D (My backup-choice would have been "DIRF", as it's an old high school nickname and I use it many places online)

[edit] On second thought, one mod I would like to do, but I can't seem to find, is to buy and install actual OEM taillights from Europe or Japan... it's a silly little aesthetic, but I think I'd prefer the backup lights to be on the top of the rear bezels... don't like how they modified them for the North American market...
