MAF sensor and BOV location?

after i ordered mine FMIC

i just realized that i might have made a wrong choice

i asked the BOV flange to be welded right before the intake manifold

and then i see bunch ppl relocating their MAF there and put BOV flange before the MAF.


then? should i relocate my MAF? reweld BOV flange / get another piece arm pipe?(scratch)


or the setup is ok, without relocating the MAF?
 
u need to relocate the maf bro the maf needs to read w.e air is going into the motor or u will die at idle etc... u really should have done some research the only way this setup will work is if u vent the bov back into the intake and no vta
 
so what can i do to relocate the MAF then?

i got a pic of the pipe from corksport

moving MAF to A section is not gonna work right?

B section got a angel 45degree coupler *2 gonna work? (is it too close to BOV?)

or should i cut BOV section and relocate BOV toward bottom and put MAF on C section?

ok so i think this one might works better?

i found a silicone T pipe with BOV flange

just cut a small end from the bottom and connect with this silicone t pipe

then cut the original bov flange away and swap in the MAF?

this setup might look more cleaner?


i just feel lil stupid to pay for the flange and welding for extra $101 from corksport,

thought i can just plug and play to save some time and energy.

well, at least i can learn from mistake =,=|||
