Hello. I was driving my car last night and it started to overheat for the first time. I changed my thermostate today and my fans still working but it's still over heating. The radiator fluid is bubbling in the reserve and smoking out of the radiator cap, what could my problem be? Thank you!

uh, could be a crack in the head or blown head gasket. Combustion gas pressurizes the coolant system and it overflows (bubbling in the overflow tank) and then the radiator is low (overheats)... SRY.

I had the same problem, mine was a blown head gasket. People will say get a compression test, but it's almost pointless with this happening. Do you have a CEL and does the coolant smell a bit like exhaust gas?

Check your radiator cap. If the piece I circled has broken off thats your issue. Just get a new radiator cap.
