Unknown wire/plug

[H/C/I Stang]

Can anyone help me identify this plug/sensor wiring?

It has the end ripped off and the jacket is burned. So, it had to cross the exhaust.




The colors are Green+Green and Red/Blue Stripe+Black.

Could be the sensor that plugs into the front of the trans, it has a jacket like that and green wires. I believe it's the reverse light sensor because i forgot to plug it in once and my reverse lights didn't work.

Either that or the neutral switch, which I believe is on the back side of the trans. If I recall, both have a pair of green wires. Hard to say for sure which it is, but I'd almost guarantee it's one of the two.

Check the plugs on the trans vs the transmission connectors that are still intact, and you should have your answer.
