TESTING WATERS-GT28RS turbo kit

whats up guys. im not so sure i wannna sellll this quite yet but i have a dual ball bearing gt28rs (disco potato) (t3 flanged) paired with a hiboost turbo manifold 38mm wastegate and oil drain feed lines. the only thing missing would be the downpipe which i do not have. i was thinking of asking 1000 obo for everything together but im not too sure yet..lmk if anyone is remotely interested. the setup is at my friends shop and the only pic of it i have is a cell phone one and its just the mani and turbo. ill post that for now and post sum legit pics tomoro. thanks everyone.

im lost. i thought the 2860's came only in t2 flange... and if its actually t3-flange, i would assume that means its the ford five bolt discharge and not the GT-style?
 
Is this the same turbo from craiglist that you tried to auction off a few months ago?
 
no its different..the other was a t28 from a skyline and this is a legit gt28rs with the identification numbers and all. its a 1200 turbo lol but im sure u all kno that and the t3 flange is very rare..when i first bought it i thought it was hard to beleive too but then it bolted to the hiboost manifold so i was like w.e haha
 
yeah you dont which is why i was surprised...

is the mani stock placement? and whoevers looking may want to get in touch with kooldino to see if he can hook you up with a downpipe... may need adjustment but might be a good starting point. thepope540 too, but im doubtful as the gt flange is cast into the upper portion.
 
is the gt28rs better than the garret t25 that comes stock with our cars?

what are the pros and cons? and will what he's selling fit a mazdaspeed protege?
