Posted this in the MSP section too, but then figured I needed to post it in the most likely place that could give me an answer.
I found a yellow MSP for sale locally. Went to look at it today and holy crap, it's built. Of course car dealer didn't know that it was so I didn't say much, but geez. It looks to have:
MAM turbo kit or maybe Hiboost with FMIC and the bullhorn type (at least it looks like it from the top kinda) exhaust manifold, GT30 (could be a T3/TO4E maybe as it has the same "look" to it as the one that is shown with the Hiboost kit) turbo, Tial wastegate (not attached to exhaust mani, on it's own pipe coming from downpipe), HKS bov, Weapon R cans, 565cc pink injectors, aftermarket exhaust, smaller racing type radiator on driver side. AEM wideband and a boost gauge on two-gauge pillar on driver side, black shift knob.
Exhaust manifold is wrapped with the heat wrap stuff, has a red strut bar, and looks to have the 1.8L coil packs, blue spark plug wires, smaller battery (since there isn't much room for anything else), radio inside the car was not stock, the front lip, rear bumper, and the hood were a darker shade of yellow than the rest of the car. It also had fog lights, the size of the ones you'd find on a P5.
Driving the car I noticed that the shifter is loose (wiggles around a lot), it will "drive itself" when you let up off the gas, the rpms stay the same and it keeps on going. Even at red lights the rpms stay around 2k. Took a little while for the guy to crank it up too, had to turn it over a few times before it finally decided to start up.
Also has STOCK Mazda 6 WHEELS, instead of MSP wheels.
In the glove box there is a cord with a dongle for connecting a laptop although I couldn't see the EMS anywhere (but I didn't go as far as following the cord, either). Carfax says the last owner was in FL. Production number is # 582 and I haven't been able to find anything out about who had this car last, but with this many mods I figured I'd ask here and see if anyone knew who may have had it and hoping to find out a little history on it. Carfax info: shows it as being purchased new in Fort Lauderdale, FL then was sold and purchased by someone else in July of 2009 by someone in Pompano Beach, FL.
