Strange headlight voltage issue

After replacing a headlight bulb (passenger-side) yesterday, I'm suddenly getting some strange behaviour from my headlights. Here is what I'm seeing now:

Lo-beam setting: driver's side low-beam normal. Pass-side low-beam only half power. Both high-beam bulbs on at low power.

Hi-beam setting: driver's side low and hi bulbs normal. Pass-side lo and hi bulbs off.

I will replace the bulb tonight and see if that's the issue, but the hi-beam involvement makes me think something "higher up" is wrong.

Any suggestions?

Hmm....going to guess that your car looks similiar to mine a couple of weeks ago? lol I took mine to a local audio shop and they confirmed it was a ground issue. I talked to the tech who checked it out and he simply took the white plug that plugs into the back of the bulb and cleaned it out. Apparently it was nothing more than a bad connection. Hopefully it will be this easy for you.

Yup, that's EXACTLY what my car looks like! (but in blue ;))

Thanks for the help, I'll take a good look at the plug.
