Pedals?

At the risk of being called a ricer...I am considering these pedals. Instructions say that you remove the rubber from OEM and screw these over. BUT our super cheesy gas pedal has no rubber to remove?? Anyone installed pedals and what did you do about the cheap plastic accelerator pedal??

Whaddya think of these??

Pretty nice! The Ichibahns have a dead pedal as well. It's sold separately though, so not in the photo, but I'd definitely get it if I go for the pedals. But what do we do about our gas pedal???

I try to understate it. Blue car, maybe some Carbon fiber pedals, no flaming skulls.

Pedals? maybe...

alot of these pedals are too wide, and restrict the use of the gas pedal. not all, but be careful. i found that the mazda pedals are skinny enough and don't get in the way as much as some others. they are not as attractive as the one's sir nuke is showing. (by the way, a big hello to sir-nuke! newbee saying hi.) they look like brushed alloy or something. anyway, just my two cents.

the ones I posted the pic of are so close to being the exact size of the ones that came on the MP3 its not funny....they would fit like they were made for our cars.....you just have to remove the rubbers on the brake and clutch and drill the holes for mounting....in the case of the ones I show there...you attach that one to the top of the stock one....

YEP, I like the shiney stuff...and seeing as how the P-5 is YELLOW....no need to ATTEMPT to tone it down any....lol that would be useless.

I installed some MOMO's on my car and it mounted right over the plastic gas pedal no problem, no problems since.

I have some Pep Boys brushed aluminum and faux carbon fiber pedals - attached right over the existing.

Brain...did you drill into it or what? how did they attach? The Momo's I've seen normally require drilling don't they?

Presumably you can drill plastic but...
