New MSP/P5/MP3/Sedan Radiator!!!

I don't care about MSP fans anyways, ill be using SPAL fans. Thanks for the updates!

ill be using Slim fans too

^+3 The stock msp fans and radiator barely fit with my MAM exhaust mani so I'm diffenently going to be using spal slims and I'm not to concerned with msp fans working either. I'd pay extra for slims Tom if you could get a deal on them for the GB.

+1 for a deal on the fans

^ buy some s*** from my partout lol! I've got some msp fans that are in perfect condition I'll sell you that'll go Grrrreat with this radiator lol

updates? i got a tax refund burning a hole in my pocket

As per the engineer from Mishimoto, the driver's side fan is too significantly different from the sedan version to be able to allow proper mounting on the current radiator design. Therefore it will not be able to be made to fit.

The passenger side fan is very similar. I will have up in a few days a "How-to" on the fitment of the passenger side fan.

Hope this comprimise works??

Also, from the engineer...Mishimoto will be producing an aluminum fan shroud (for the slimline fans) for this radiator, however a release date is not official yet.

what price range would we be looking at for the shroud?

I wish I could tell you but I don't have any more info than what I wrote previously. You might want to check out the Mishimoto website and look at some of the current shrouds they have. I would guess they would be similarly priced??

Yeah, I'm not sure what the price will be but I will do my best to get everyone a good deal as we have done with the rads.

I do have a feeling though the rads will be done a short while sooner than the shroud/fans...nothing positive, just my opinion

my only thing is can i fit a GT3071R without the rad being in the way...

I have the prototype installed in the race car so if you want some measurements to key spots on the engine from the radiator let me know exactly the spots and I will measure....

that still doesn't solve the problem for *all* MSP owners
the passenger side fan is not needed if you're taking out A/C or it's not there if you don't have A/C... all it's for is to draw additional air so that the A/C works properly (of course that doesn't stop anyone from making use of it as an additional cooling fan with some rewiring)

this means MSP owners still have to spend more money to buy a fan

I don't see what the big deal of having a removable bracket or welding one to allow the MSP radiator fan (driver's side) to go on and having to just cut the lower fan peg off like the condenser fan mod how-to you posted

I made it work on a stock diesel radiator (which has a very different fan than the turbo diesel/MSP one), so why can't you/mishimoto? wait, I guess this doesn't matter because "most" buyers don't drive MSPs and "most" MSP buyers aren't reusing their stock fans
