OEM 18's painted Duplicolor Graphite

Just wanted to show these to anyone thinking of this color. Hadn't seen these before on this site. Have seen plenty of black though. I like them alot and for about 4 hrs. total work and about $20.00 in materials, the results can't be beat.

Process was this:

Simple Green wash and rinse with fresh water, dry.
Thorough 400 grit sanding to every square centimeter.
Tack Rag to remove dust.
Duplicolor primer coat.
2 coats Duplicolor High Performance Wheel Coating.
2 coats Duplicolor Clear Protective Coating.
Done

Very interesting and looks great. Does the paint hold up well? That is my main concern, I may actually give this a go.

I used it on the rolla, it is pretty tough stuff, you'll get chips over time, but you can spot em with the same paint applied with a qtip
and if you want a dif color, you can still use the wheelpaint clear on top

Nice

I painted mine gun metal a few months back. I love the look! I also blacked out the side markers... Makes it tighten up really nice with the window tint.

I think they look great, but I also think you'll be redoing them before too long. Nice work though and nice price.
