Curt Hitch need pics

Anyone have picture of curt hitch installed on the cx-9?

The shop near my home told me that he dont want to sell hidden hitch anyone because there are rusting fast here in quebec, it seems that they have problem with paint.

He told me that curt is better. But I never saw the look on CX-9....

Thank You

I know but Curt are square tubing and hidden hitch are Round tubing.

I preffer round but I want to see it with square tubing too..

Not just tubes, Hidden is V-shaped, while Curt is more like a squarish-U shaped.
Hidden reveals less when looking from behind. (therefore, the name "Hidden" - they try).

No doubt, the OE 1 1/4" is the most concealed hitch. But Mazda declined to sell me one in 2008, and I don't want a Tow package because I don't tow heavy stuff. My hitch is only for bike racks and small trailer if needed.

I believe after 2009 model, they now sell the OE hitch separately.
At least it is available as an accessory on MazdaUsa.com. It wasn't so in 2008.
However, it costs more than the aftermarket Curt or Hidden hitches.

Looking for a Pic as well?

Hello, Just wondering if anyone has a pic, or can post one of the Curt Class III installed on a CX-9. It seems to have a slight different shape in the pictures, I'm wondering how that looks below the bumper?

Curt Hitch Photos

I just happened to have my (rusty) ball mount installed - so here are some shots with and without. Personally I don't like the way the hitch shows from the rear, but as hitches go, I sure like the performance, and if course its a class III. If you want some other angle, just yell, it just takes a second. I started a thread called Cargo Carrier, on which you can see some other shots of the hitch on my '10. I added the dirt this week, did it all by myself! I'll probably do it again next time we have hurricane winds and rain.

another pic please?

drchuck or marlonf, sorry to bother, could you take a couple extra pics at the same angle that the hidden hitch picture is earlier in the thread.

It seems that the plate at the top of the hitch doesn't really stick out that far... the only real difference is the angle of the beams to the receiver, from a direct rear view? thank-you.

Here are a few more shots I hope one of these is the one you're looking for. Remember this Curt is a class III, as is Ceric's Hidden Hitch.

What is the distance between the tip of the hitch and the rear bumper?
