New Stock Wheel Look

So, I haven't seen anyone with this yet, but has anyone painted their stock speed3 wheels where the offset spokes are black so it looks like a 5-spoke wheel? I did a small "photoshop" in paint..I would really like to see a live pic of it. I'm thinking about painting mine gunmetal..thought about this 5-spoke look too but can't tell if itd be a mistake.

Dunno if that would look good IRL or not, but I do know this: The stock wheels look way better when they're 5-spokers!

I think it might be ok, taken all the way with flat black paint, but the way the painted spoke ingresses to the rim makes for a difficult blending.


Or, you could just clean every other spoke

in real life it would look awkward, pictures with proper lighting would be the only thing that would do them justice. im just thinking of every other wheel that has black spokes alongside chrome or silver and how terrible they look

wait for cloaking technology to get on the consumer market, then you can paint or put overlay on the spokes you don't want to see and they'll go invisible. of course at that point you may as well put that stuff on the whole wheel and tire so it looks like you are in a hover car
