Remove console to connect ipod interface

Hi All,

I just got my 2010 Mazda5 Touring and had ordered a 3rd party ipod interface. Can anyone help me with the instructions to remove the console to access the back of the cd changer?

Nope, Capt Spalding, the pdf was for the older model without the central console.

I managed to get a copy a the 6 CD changer install guide and it had the steps to remove the central console.

Also the 3rd party ipod interface did not work. As for the original harness and ipod interface, I was told by the dealer that there was some electrical fault and therefore Mazda had withdrawn the 2010 Mazda 5 ipod interface.

When is it coming back is anyone's guess.

huh? The 5 has always had a center console! my 2006 GT has one. The parking brake is part of it. Kinda hard to miss! 2 cup holders, CD storage and storage bins, rear cup holder and fold out cup holder.
