2002 PR5 & 08 mazda 6
Hi all. I just got a 2002 protege 5 with 102k 5 speed.
I got the PR5 for 3600 at a dealer, The car was not even detailed, but its clean title with only two owners, not rust " this is new mexico :)" The front lights where all cloudy, but i bought the 3M headlight restorer, and they look brand new now, bet $18 i ever spent!. I know pr5 are good cars my dad bought one new in 03 it now has 150k only thing he ever did was the egr valve, and his car is still like new.

I have always been a Mazda guy through "ford", I have had 4 festiva's, "really a mazda 121" one was turbo'd with a b6t, and my first car was a escort gt 1.8
I figured it was time i got a car with not only with a mazda engine, but with the badges :)

I am planning on selling the stock chrome rims, I hate chrome, and getting some other rims for it, whatever i can get a good deal on.
I am also looking to do suspension upgrades, and intake, header and exhaust, but not till spring next year.
ill be on here reading a lot about what are the best upgrades to do :)

Nice car it looks good, I love that midnight blue. Your wheels aren't chrome, btw, i'm pretty sure they are polished aluminum and I like them better than the stock silver wheels.

Your right i just say chrome because they look like it :)
I like the aluminum, I think they look more sporty,
and the polished aluminum, is more expensive looking.

Thanks everyone for the welcome.

yeah i think i will tint the windows is looks so much nicer.

I would love to boost it, but time will tell, i will first get rims, i will also be needing a new clutch soon, and rotors.
