Mazda Protege 2003 lx-t
Hi I m running an protege turbo with a t3t4 on a forged base and i want to put my e-manage on to run my engine. Do someone have a basemap to help me tune my car because i m back to school and i don't have time to play with computer hundred hours to find a good map. I'm already running an msp ecu with stock injectors but i have 440's. I have a 1:1 fuel pressure regulator and some basic mods like 2.5 turbo back exhaust and custom fmic.
I tried some settings i found on the site but i wasn't able to download them on my e-manage.
If you have any tip or kind of help it'll be really apprecited

nice engine, what mods?

stay away from emanage...you'll save yourself the headaches, get a haltech or at least an afc

yeah but i already have it with the ignition, fuel injection harness and a map sensor for the emanage unit plus the support tool.Long story short i spent a lot of money on my emanage to have it complete to make it work for the protege. I spent a lot of time too on forums to get some feedbacks and i bought it like 6 mounth ago it's a little to late to change my projects.
And my mods for rightt now are limited to k1 forged rods and wiseco pistons cometic head gasket a walbro fuel pump aeromotive fpr custom fmic turbo xs bov 2.5 custom turbo back exhaust and a couple gadgets like aem wideband boost gauge and oil pressure gauge. I also have an apexi auto timer but like i said i don't have to wire it to my car. I'll wait till i have my answer for my emanage and do this at the same time

hey, wish you all the good luck in the world!

remember you also need the 02 clamp (flying miata 02 clamp)

let us know how it goes.

My emanage works OK, but has a horrible time connecting to Laptops. Plus, having directions in English always helps with a install..... My emanage is sometimes inconsistent too in the tune, but others even with the Split Second AFC complain of that too. Good luck though man.

thanks for the tips but i dont wanna buy another unit and have the same problem or other kind. And for the afc it doesn t work with the timming. I will continue to try to find someting in an another i'll be oblige to put a "for sale" placard on my e-manage

Ok thanks for the tips and hopefully i have the english directions. But for the afc it doesnt work with the timming thats why i chose the emanage. when i bought it there was a lot of good comments on this unit. I will continu my research and if i'm obliged i'll put a for sale placard on my emanage...lol

Sorry cpu problem i sent two identical messages...

Yeah the Fic was what i was looking for at the beginning but i read a lot on those units too. they're really complete but there's a couple of tricky things needed to make it work on our cars and the guy from the dyno shop i wanna go after that tried the Fic on msp and he has no issue to make it work. He told me that an aem ems should be needed....he was asking me 1800$ cad for this and i dont think its a plug n play and its a standalone unit could means more dyno time....a lot more money by the way.

it is plug n play if i recall correctly...they now have the wiring harness
edit: nevermind
they just sell a harness to plug it into, you still need to splice it in, but this should make it easier...

do you know if it pluggs into all the aem ems or its for a specific unit...and do you you someone who is running an aem ems on his msp with good results??
