Attn: JAX FL Mazdaspeed owners!

I am in Jax but since ATR was released I have done my own tuning.
In the group of guys I know w/ Mazdaspeeds one other has an AP but he is using an OTS map.

Ok guys!!!

Here is the update from topspeed. They CAN tune our cars with the cobb AP. However, here is what is going on... those of you that have the cobb AP and have the access tuner race, if you have it, and are scared to use it and want a professional tuner to use the software instead give topspeed a call so they can make arrangements for you to send your ATR to them or for doug to use your laptops ATR software.

Unfortunately the reason we are having to do this is because they still havent gotten the full interest they need to justify buying the protune software. But, they want to and are eager to get into the mazdaspeed community and will be 100% willing to work with anyone!!!

Tuning dates for July are the 15, 16th and 17th of this month!!!! Location: subaru of jacksonville off atlantic blvd PM me for more details...

Im getting tuned, so feel free to stop by

UPDATE

just wanted to give you guys an update as to whats going on with the topspeed tunes...

One of the locals, Lerin who has a mazdaspeed 6 with the following mods:
ETS big tmic
HKS bov
Test/Race pipe
CP-e Cold air Intake
and Cobb AP
denso itv24s

put down

274whp and 306ft lbs

dyno was at topspeed in alpharetta GA

the car put down some pretty good power for still having the stock downpipe! Car is also on stock catback

Im being tuned this week. My mods are a bit more conservative... griffin retrofitted tmic, KMD V2 fuel pump internals, cobb AP, denso itv22s

I live in st augustine bout 25 min from jax. but i dont have the ac port. still trying to decided if i want it or the cpe

piggy backs do not have the control of the stock ecu... they try to fool the computer and often result in rough tunes...

i would highly recommond the cobb AP over the CP-e any day

cobb just released flat foot shifting (no lift) and launch control btw

The Standback is the best piggyback for our car , my tune was made by Jason from P3 performance and my car still pull hard with no knock after 1 month !

Both option is good but the CP-E option is more expensive , imo i prefer the standback if you have a good CP-E tuner near you ...

Of course you can drive 10 hours like me for tuning , i'm from Montreal and P3 is in maryland !

thanks for the info. looks like i got some thinking to do. i just feel that i dont get as much hp from the ap than with the cpe. it would however be nice to get tuned so close to home with some free dyno time

Oh yes , it work better than the stock one , i had lot of fuel cut with the CF hood in cold weather condition , no fuel cut with the stock hood , so that why a bought the Full control flash from CP-E ( fuel cut fix ) , just one problem about the fitment ,i have the ETS intercooler so the hood doesn't sit perfect , i have installed hood pins for safety . I know it's not the better idea for the look but i prefer my hood down (bowdown) , if you want a picture let me know ...

actually yea, that would be great... If you can, take a pic of the underside of the hood with the splitter and everything installed. I want to see how the intake duct looks on it....

also guys... my denso itv24's came in today... so that means the itv22's are being pulled out. My friend has first dibs, but he just got in a wreck last night... if he passes, they are up to the highest bidder... these plugs only have 2000 miles on em

thanks for the pics...

It looks like the scoop can be restrictive.... do you have any logs of the intake temp and boost air temp
