Soon!
I am getting tinted this week, and am trying to decide between 40 and 50% all around. I want it to be light enough to be able to parallel park at night, and to be able to see into it easily, in addition to never having to worry about being pulled over for it. I can't find too many photos of 40/50, so if you have some, specifically on a dark hatch/speed, lets see them!

probably becuase nobody does 40 or 50. That's way to light, not even really worth doing it. In texas, I think 30 is legal, I got the wifes at 25 and had no issues at all. It's not bad to see out of either. When I have the speed done, I'll probably go 15 for the back and 25 for the front.

Galvatron...I've never seen a car with tint that light. Either its got not tint or its at the legal limit. I've seen 35% and thats way too light for Vegas Heat. I'm sure you can go your legal limit and be fine.

I got 35% and sometimes I think its too light but the good thing is you don't have to worry about cops pulling you over for it.

I wouldn't spend the money on getting it 40% or 50%, to me it just seems way too light.
I went with 20% all around, couldn't be happier. Had it for about 8 months, no problems from cops yet. Even when I got pulled over so the cop could ask what I was driving lol.

I got 20%. Couldnt be better. Dark enough to look good, light enough to to not be bothered by cops

Well I went with 40%, and its exactly what I wanted, it looks perfect to me. Here's a crappy cell phone picture until I wash the car and get some real shots:

Glad you're happy with it - that's what counts the most.

I don't know what this is, the dealer installed it but, I think it looks badass on a black car....

I think 40% looks good on your car. Glad you're happy with it.

keep in mind.. the car has about a 7% already so a 40% is really a 33-34%...

the shop im looking to get mine done at says their "35%" is really a 40%, and they said that with the native tint on the factory car, it will be below 35%

Galvatron, was yours advertised as a 40% tint or 35%? was is a true 40%?

I just tinted my car and got 35% upfront, and 20% in the rears.

Speaking of factory tint, I've had ppl come up to me and ask if my car had window tint before I even had it done, so the factory tint is fairly decent. But definitely 35% would be the lightest I would ever get.

real quick. when you say '"X" in the front and "X" in the rear' do u mean front driver/passanger windows for the "front" and the rear passenger and rear windshield for the "rear" or is the rear just the back windshield?

dumb question, I know.

Here's my 55%...on the shield!! OOOHH!

But for reals, I wouldn't go any lighter than 35% on the sides. It's not even worth it to go lower IMO.
